The Other Guy The reason for the caption i chose for this article is little ambiguous to comprehend. All I'm writing ,is about the character we are playing in real life and what we are exactly , what is our beingness. I have choices of other amiable titles as well but I've opted this one because i got really bewitched by the rhetoric style of Dr Banner, The hulk(in The Avenger) when he elucidate his real persona as THE OTHER GUY.
There can be the number of reason, a person longing to improve his facades, to bear the yolk of some-others persona. We can understand this in more realistic way as sometime we get very much fascinated or impressed by the charisma of other person that we get ready to try anything to covet that possession.But in real are we trying to follow him or trying to learn things from him, or just copying him. what can be the reason for this ?
Some suggests that Suppression , failure, inferiority complex ,in some cases,could be the reasons .sometime we are unwillingly forced to get bounded in a image,may be imposed, by our family, friends or surroundings and we in complete oblivion or in less consciousness(for few cases) get ready to wear a mascot . This sort of condition arose when we are having high expectation from our self or being expected by other to do big . But In actual, we are loosing our self.
I want to pen down this Because "THE OTHER GUY = REAL SELF" wants to come out and play its role it is intended to. But because of the clutching fear of exposure and the wimpness to accept our beingness we didn't let the The Other guy come out, may be here we have been already bounded in the coercivelly granted IMAGE. Its not a bad thing to learn or to opt others good qualities, but it is a cheating to let the other guy, your real persona dissappear.
Every person definitely has its varied living dimensionals.Accordingly we all develop a virtual hero ,can be brought from a epic or a movie character or can be inspired from a real life persona(father, friend, teacher etc). But if we drove so much into that character and somehow developed any antogonistic illwill towards The Other guy , then for sure it will get stultified by the virtual hero and we will never get a chance to see The Other Guy playing as lead.
Some where i read this "Image is every thing and every thing is image" ,seems to be funky but intresting line. In one or other way ,we all are busy just to improve our image,irrespective of path we have to board for this. In the small span of life we cant take experience of every thing so here comes the saubstitue of learning. But dont misinterpret learning by imitation. learning does'nt approve the concept of adoption,but adaption.It teaches improvement,just to broden the horizon.
There is no standard fix for attracion.But attraction towards other persona can be a one's desperation to fill the void, or simply a love toward the qualities of that persona.Attraction can be ,in one case, towards other smile, beauty, genuineness etc without any motive. But in second case it can be towards the qualities one didn have and they are really fascinating, influential to prove his imposingness.People are ready to wear any attire ,mascot to prove himself meaning ful. I personaaly thinks that Daunting image mascot(eg. hitler's ) is in more demand than slow ,patient non-violent mascot(eg. gandhi's)
The epitome of the preachings is just to convey that do not loose your real hero, that is The Other Guy,Learn from your own experience, may be at intial attempts The Other Guy will stand up as a looser and you left with complete disparity . But the feelings of satisfaction after acheiveing things being as Other Guy is inexplanable. If you start playing someothers role ,who will play your part. It is not to prove anyone anything , just trying to give what "THE OTHER GUY(YOU)" actually deserve.
